THE BUCKET LIST

When I was in the madness (active alcoholism), I watched the movie the "Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Of course, I thought of my own bucket list. It was a typical alcoholic's bucket list. Tons of money, no need to work, and do what I want when I want. I imagined owning a yacht with beautiful women fawning all over me. After I got sober, I stumbled upon the movie again on TV.

This time my bucket list was one item. TO DIE WITH DIGNITY SOBER! It is still the only item on my bucket list. AA taught me to be selfless not selfish. It taught me humility and gratitude.
